Keeping even the most draughty indoor spaces toasty warm.

Stomping Ground Beer Hall, a vast 1,500-square-metre converted warehouse, blends old-world industrial charm with contemporary brewing culture. The venue presented unique heating challenges with its exposed saw-tooth roof, double-height voids, and original structural elements like trusses and steel beams.

In an open space such as this, traditional warm-air furnace systems would not only be inefficient but could also create uncomfortable draughts, due to the open spaces and high rooflines.

To address these challenges, Heatray designed a custom heating solution that combines Gas-fired Infrared Radiant Heaters (IRH-Gs) and Tube Radiant Heaters (TRHs). This system provides targeted low, medium, and high-intensity radiant heat, ensuring warmth right at floor level where it’s needed most.

Heatray’s innovative approach allows Stomping Ground to maintain a comfortable environment for patrons, enhancing the beer hall experience, especially during colder months. The radiant heaters efficiently distribute heat throughout the space, ensuring it is absorbed by people and the surrounding structures, thus maintaining the venue’s cosy ambience without disrupting its aesthetic integrity.

Stomping Ground Brewery is not just about beer; it’s a celebration of community and diversity. Brewing over 60 different beers annually, the brewery offers everything from staple brews to unique one-off creations. Complemented by an inclusive menu featuring everything from classic pub fare to Italian wood-fired pizzas, Stomping Ground is a much-loved urban destination for all tastes.
